Would you like a piece of history?
We are in the process of restoring the exterior walls of the
church. The process involves removing the battens, facing the
walls with a thin sheet of plywood and aluminum, and then restoring the
battens and painting. During the cleaning of the walls, we have
removed a number of the old square nails used in construction.
You can have one of these mementoes by contributing to the building
maintenance fund. We have made available an 8 by 10 inch page
showing the church in its original configuration, the 1913 addition, a
contemporary view, a picture of the work in progress, and one of these
old square nails.
